You are doing the best you can at everything you are doing. Sometimes you need to show yourself love for just being you and making it through another day. We both know that life loves to throw curve balls at us nearly every day on top of the normal obligations and duties we already have to complete. Because of all of sh*t you are given, you need to show yourself that you are an amazing person for getting through everything.
Personally, I like to treat my self with my favorite pretzel from Auntie Anne’s. Treats like these give me a little pick-me-up when I’m feeling self-conscious. Since this isn’t the healthiest treats to have, I try to have one of their pretzels once in a while. I don’t want to get into the habit of eating unhealthy foods when I’m feeling down.
So I’d advice you to pick your treat wisely. They are not meant to break the bank in anayway. Treats are meant to remind you that even among the stress and sadness, you have the power to create a moment of peace amount all of that. For some, a treat looks like a new material good, like a pair of shoes, make-up or clothes. For others, a treat will be something edible, for instance, a bottle of wine or a special dessert.
